Encompass Health Rehab Hospital opened in August 2008 as Healthsouth Rehab Hospital of Fredericksburg--a 40 bed Acute Rehab Hospital specializing in intensive inpatient therapy services. Our personalized and comprehensive program helps patients achieve their highest possible level of independence.
In 2013 our hospital expanded to 52 beds and then in 2017 we expanded to our current size of 58 beds.
Our name is changing to Encompass Health Rehab Hospital, but we are still the same company, with the same ownership, leadership, and focus on excellent patient care that have been the hallmarks of our Hospital since Day 1.
