Description
The Business Case for Corporate Philanthropy and Volunteering
Presented by Rappahannock United Way President Janel Donohue
Community philanthropy, including corporate giving and volunteering, is NOT just a big business strategy. Community philanthropy can create a powerful competitive advantage if it is planned strategically with a meaningful focus on the organization's core business and target market and carried out effectively. Come learn about the important business benefits of giving back to the community through philanthropy and volunteerism.
The Chamber's Small Business Builder (SBB) program is open to all small businesses and those who wish to do business with them. Presented in a "Brown Bag" fashion, the SBB program provides an opportunity to hear ideas and issues important to small businesses, and to network. Space is limited, so please RSVP.
