DESCRIPTION:Monthly we do beer dinners to give our kitchen an opportunity to stretch their culinary wings. It is also a great opportunity to showcase our local farmers and to support local charities. January is our first of the year and it is in support of The Table.\n\n\n\nThe Table is St. George's market-style food pantry that operates out of Sydnor Hall (from the George St. entrance) twice a day each Tuesday: 9:30 11 a.m. and 5 6:30 p.m. Since 2012\, volunteers at the Table have been welcoming people to this food pantry in the hope that at this Table\, as at our altar table\, all may come and find sustenance.\n\n\n\nWhat makes the Table unique\, above and beyond its market-style approach that allows patrons to pick the foods they need for their families\, is its commitment to providing fresh produce each week. Donations come from St. Georgians\, community members\, and local businesses.\n\n\n\nIn addition\, the Table purchases thousands of pounds of food each week from the Rappahanock Regional Food Bank and crate after crate of fresh produce from a local farm.
