Job Description

Provide network and cybersecurity engineering support as a system analyst and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) System Manager.

Education: BA/BS in Computer Science/Information Systems related field (preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with analyzing and securing DoD or IT systems
  • Certified as DoD 8570 IAT Level II (minimum)
  • Understanding of computer security, military system specifications, DoD Information Assurance policies, and Cybersecurity Directives
  • Experience with Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM)
  • Experience with performing cybersecurity and vulnerability testing
  • Experience with performing risk assessments
  • Familiarity with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations

Responsibilities:

  • Provide VRAM system management
  • Design, implement, install, configure, maintain, test and integrate local and enterprise VRAM solution for Littoral Combat Ship Training Facility (LTF)
  • Develop/review/maintain VRAM tracking for Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA), Information Assurance Vulnerability Bulletins (IAVB), and other Cyber Directive Types as applicable
  • Manage required information security documentation\
  • Analyze ACAS output to determine software and hardware configurations update VRAM assets as needed
  • Establish system baselines in VRAM
  • Research and recommend required patches based on analysis of scans
  • Identify security requirements to bring a system into compliance
  • Conduct vulnerability testing and analysis to determine compliance
  • Register 12+ PMS 505 systems and assets within VRAM
  • Generate reports via VRAM in response to Cybersecurity requirements or formal Vulnerability Data calls.
