about us
The mission of Failsafe-ERA is to equip individuals affected by incarceration with the resources and tools they need to recover from their life-altering decision(s) and challenges.

“We are anchored in the community as their vessel of support to cut down the barriers that prevent them from becoming successful, and our programs will ensure they can operate in a “failsafe” ERA.”

Failsafe Caring Connections is a group counseling program for families affected by incarceration. Individuals learn, in a supportive and non-judgmental environment, the techniques to properly grieve the loss of their incarcerated loved ones and how to survive the incarceration process, the most common being the shame associated with admitting that incarceration has touched their lives. They learn how to manage expectations and how not to become an enabler once the loved one returns home. This group meets the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Rappahannock Goodwill Building at 4701 Market Street, Fredericksburg, VA 10:00 a.m. 11:30 a.m.

Failsafe Educational Enhancement Program provides participants the opportunity to learn various skills to increase personal and professional growth; and access to higher education opportunities.

Failsafe Prison Ministry Program teaches inmates Biblical principles and provide returning citizens guidance and direction to become spiritual leaders of their families and communities.
