DESCRIPTION:The Women and Girls Fund of The Community Foundation has engaged the Political Institute for Women to present a three-hour Advocacy 101 workshop that will educate\, inform and inspire Women and Girls Fund members and others to be effective advocates for the issues and causes they care most about.\n\nAre you passionate about education? Transportation? Clean water? This morning workshop on Saturday\, October 20\, 2018 will benefit any area woman who wants to take action for the good of our community.\n\nThe workshop cost of $60 includes an acclaimed training program and refreshments.\n\nThere are 50 seats available for this training. Women and Girls Fund members are being offered first access - contact the foundation for registration password. After September 24\, remaining tickets will be available to the general public and no password will be needed.\n\n\n\nFood restrictions: No nuts are served at this workshop. Participants with gluten sensitivity should plan to bring their own snacks. Please contact the foundation with any questions.
