SUMMARY:AHA Basic Life Support Provider Course
DESCRIPTION:The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course equips healthcare professionals\, public safety personnel\, and other healthcare-related providers with the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course emphasizes the importance of early recognition\, rapid intervention\, and high-quality resuscitation to improve patient outcomes during cardiac arrest and other medical emergencies.\n\nParticipants will learn and practice high-quality CPR for adults\, children\, and infants\, including proper compression techniques\, ventilation methods\, and the use of barrier devices. The course also covers the safe and effective use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)\, relief of foreign-body airway obstructions (choking)\, and the principles of effective team dynamics during resuscitation events. Through instructor-led discussions\, skills practice\, and scenario-based training\, students develop the confidence and competence needed to provide lifesaving care in both prehospital and healthcare settings in accordance with the latest AHA Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.
