DESCRIPTION:1stAnnual FiRST STEM Summit\n\n	(FiRST=Fredericksburg Regional STEM Team)\n\n	 \n\n	The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce Technology Council\,\n\n	FredTech\, is pleased to announce that the\n\n	1stAnnual FiRST STEM SUMMIT \n\n	will take place on\n\n	Thursday\,  October 20thfrom 5pm to 8pm\n\n	  The Olde Silk Mill\n\n	in historic Fredericksburg\n\n	The event is FREE to the public\, and intended for anyone interested in\n\n	enriching and accelerating science\, technology\, engineering and mathematics\n\n	(STEM) for students in Virginia's Planning District 16:\n\n	City of Fredericksburg\, Stafford\, Spotsylvania\, Caroline and\n\n	King George Counties.\n\n	 \n\n	FredTech\, in collaboration with regional STEM leaders\,\n\n	has established the Fredericksburg Regional STEM Team (FiRST)\n\n	to promote\, enable and extend STEM resources\, activities\, and opportunities\n\n	within Virginia's Planning District 16.\n\n	The FiRST Charter and volunteer sign-up is available at the FiRST blog.\n\n	\n		The event will feature demonstrations of ongoing and successful STEM projects presented by students from around the region\n	\n		Captain Heidemarie M.
