DESCRIPTION:The Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) is excited to announce the return of FAM?s popular take-home summer camp\, History in A Bag. Have you ever wondered where Fredericksburg kids played baseball 100 years ago\, or why a wiffle ball curves easily? This is the camp for you! This summer?s History in a Bag: Batter Up!\, includes fun crafts\, STEM projects\, and games inspired by Fredericksburg?s exciting baseball history. These activities are designed to keep kids entering 1st- 6th grade and their families entertained for an entire weekend. The FAM is reserving take-home camp bags until Thursday\, June 30th. Each camp kit includes an activity booklet and all the supplies needed to complete the provided activities. It is recommended to purchase one bag per child. Batter Up bags are $10 for FAM members and $15 for non-members. Please visit (https://fredericksburg-area-museum.square.site/shop/4) to reserve a take-home bag. Not a member of FAM? Now is the perfect chance to join. Please visit https://famva.org/membership/to join! History bags pick-up is July 14th between 9am ? 12pm and 2 pm -7pm at the FAM (907 Princess Anne St).
