DESCRIPTION:You're invited to a gathering to celebrate the arrival of our latest acquisition: the fragments of a Rappahannock River Batteau. Thanks to the collaboration of Fauquier History Museum at the Old Jail\, the Scottsville Museum\, and many others\, we were able to give this exciting piece of Fredericksburg history a new home. When: Friday\, April 18th Time: 4:00-6:30pm Location: Fredericksburg Area Museum\, first floor This is a casual event where we can all chat about the river\, its history\, and all the exciting projects going on in the area. There will be light snacks and refreshments.
