DESCRIPTION:Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center (SHCAC) will hold its 12th annual fundraising "Golf Tournament for the Protection of Our Children" on Monday\, May 3\, 2021 at Fredericksburg Country Club. Being an outdoor event\, Safe Harbor's tournament will be adapted for safety\; both Safe Harbor and the FCC will follow all state and local safety requirements in place at the time of the tournament. Players will enjoy a great day of golf including light breakfast and lunch\, raffles and player/team prizes\, and a silent auction including a Big Green Egg "MiniMax". Both Sponsorships and Teams are available to those wishing to participate\, and all proceeds will benefit Safe Harbor.\n\n \n\nThe annual tournament provides an opportunity for the community\, supporters\, and friends with an interest in child protection to give back to children who've experienced abuse or neglect. With its deep community roots and partnerships\, Safe Harbor demonstrates the power of collaboration to bring support\, healing\, and legal justice to child victims\, all in a trauma-informed setting.\n\n \n\nThroughout the pandemic\, Safe Harbor has remained vigilant in standing with children to ensure that not one is left to face abuse or neglect alone. The tournament will provide a much-needed fun and safe opportunity for the community to come together in support of children.   \nFounded in 2008\, Safe Harbor relies on philanthropy to coordinate the community's response to child abuse and maltreatment across the region.
