SUMMARY:Second Saturday: Italian Connections
DESCRIPTION:On September 14\, the public is invited to join FAM staff and learn about Fredericksburg's Italian connections and Sister City\, Este as a prequel to Pizza Palooza hosted by the Fredericksburg Este Sister City organization on Saturday\, September 21 in Market Square. Families can participate in a variety of FREE Italian crafts and activities including making their own stamp based on the Taliaferro family signet seal in the Museum's collection. Second Saturdays at the Museum is a regularly scheduled family program that includes hands-on activities\, and an opportunity to explore the Museum's exhibits. This program is held on the second Saturday of every month from 11 AM   12 PM and provides an opportunity for visitors to discover something new within the FAM's collection and explore a new piece of Fredericksburg's history each month. Second Saturdays is a FREE program and registration is not required but appreciated.
