DESCRIPTION:The Stafford Education Foundation is happy to announce we will be hosting our 7th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Friday\, July 16th\, 2021 at Augustine Golf Club. SEF is a non-profit\, independent organization committed to impacting and advancing education in Stafford County Public Schools through charitable activities that support sound educational programs and practices. The Foundation has a few specific purposes that support both students and teachers in SCPS. The first being our graduating senior student scholarship program. Over the years\, we have provided funds to many graduating seniors moving on to higher education. As the cost of higher education continues to soar\, our young people need all the help they can get! The second is our Innovative Teacher Grant. Each year\, our dedicated and creative teachers come up with projects that will enhance learning that fall outside of their regular classroom funding. Enter SEF! J SEF has provided teacher grants of well over $12\,000 per year and we are hoping to increase that number significantly this year. Your participation in this event as a player\, sponsor\, or donor is a sign of our collective commitment to education and ensuring we can provide equal academic opportunities for everyone within SCPS.
