DESCRIPTION:This celebration of the artistic process is a signature event for Stafford County  offering a unique and family-oriented gathering that attracts local residents  and visitors alike.  \n\n\n\nVia Colori  is loosely based on a tradition of Renaissance-era street painting  in Italy. Rick Compton\, after seeing the modern version of this artform in  Europe\, brought it to the US and founded Via Colori  in 1994. Since then\,  \n\n\n\nmore than 50 Via Colori  events have been held across the US\, raising more  than $8M for local charities. Via Colori  is truly a "celebration of creativity"\,  as quoted by Rick Compton. \n\n\n\nOn September 23 & 24\, seventy-five local artists will create one-of-kind art  experiences on the asphalt at the Stafford Regional Airport. It will be inspiring  for thousands of people as the artists share their perspective and creativity. \n\nEvent & Community Success\n\n? Average 4500 in attendance\n\n? 14 Major Sponsors\n\n? 75+ artists\n\n? 200 volunteers\n\n? 100s of children and families\n\nengaged\n\n? Community service vendors\n\n?
