DESCRIPTION:Join FAHASS\, in partnership with the Got5? campaign\, for Fredericksburg's first Youth Empowerment Summit! Designed to educate and challenge youth aged 13-24 about a variety of difficulties they may be facing including psychosocial issues\, cultural differences\, and health disparities. \n\n\n\nIn addition to the keynote presentation\, Identifying Trauma and Increasing Resilience in Youths\, attendees will also select 2 breakout sessions\, organized by age group. Breakout sessions include breaking the academic code to excellence\, HIV prevention strategies\, negotiating boundaries\, and understanding school-age gender & sexual minority groups\n\n\n\nParents\, teachers\, counselors and community educators are also encouraged to participate.
