Description
On October 13, The Chamber will host the Tenth Annual Goodwill Awards. This program is being held with the special purposes of connecting Fredericksburg’s Regional business community with non-profit and area agencies, identifying opportunities for corporate philanthropy, and recognizing existing philanthropic efforts by businesses in our region.
This breakfast event will feature an exhibition showcasing local nonprofits. Our keynote speaker will be Andrea Sawyer of the Wounded Warrior Project. Andrea represents Warriors Speak, a national group of wounded warriors and caregivers who have been selected to share their personal, inspirational stories of courage and integrity with the public. Andrea will share her compelling story and demonstrate the power of how nonprofit organizations can transform the lives of others and contribute to the greater good of our community.
Lastly, we will present present the 2011 Chamber Goodwill Awards to a small, medium, and large business that have made significant contributions to our community.
