Seminar - Obtaining Clearances
Description
The ability to obtain security clearances is one of the keys to success for the defense contractors that compose an ever-growing segment of the Fredericksburg Region’s economy. The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Marbury Law Group stand ready to help area contractors obtain the clearances they need to do business with the federal government.
On Thursday, Sept. 10, from 2-4 p.m., the Chamber and Marbury will offer “Obtaining Clearances – Navigating Security Clearance Challenges,” a seminar designed to help attendees begin learning how to win the security clearances vital to their businesses’ success. Marbury Law Group is serving as Title Sponsor. Germanna Community College is serving as Gold Sponsor.
Dr. Jon Roberts, a senior partner with Marbury, will offer an overview of the procedures for obtaining clearances for both employees and facilities. He’ll discuss some of the most common mistakes made by individuals and businesses seeking clearances and offer tips on how to avoid those obstacles. Following his presentation, the floor will be opened to questions.
