Legislative Reception

The Chamber is pleased to announce that its annual Legislative Meeting & Reception will take place beginning at 4:30 p.m., Dec. 16 in the North Building of University of Mary Washington's Stafford Campus.

 

This is your chance to hear from Fredericksburg-area lawmakers about business-related legislation likely to be considered by the General Assembly during its 2010 session. The entire Fredericksburg Region's delegation - Sens. Edd Houck and Richard Stuart, House of Delegates Speaker Bill Howell and Dels. Mark Cole, Bobby Orrock and Albert Pollard - have agreed to attend.

The lawmakers will participate in a panel-style discussion of the issues facing the business community, as well as take questions from the audience. A reception will follow the forum. Columbia Gas of Virginia is serving as the Title Sponsor. MidAtlantic Foam is serving as Gold Sponsor.
