Community Conversations: Pros and Con...
Description

In July, 2021, Virginia became one of the 18 states (plus D.C.) that legalized the use of recreational marijuana. It also joined the 35 other states (plus D.C.) that have legalized the medical use of cannabis.
Join us for our Community Conversations series sponsored by Virginia Partners Bank as we discuss the pros and cons of marijuana legalization. Hear from business owners, legal experts, and medical experts as we explore what recreational and medical legalization could mean for Virginia. You’ll also have a chance for tabletop discussion with other members on this topic.
Speakers:
Paul Fish - Hydrokulture
Dr. Bhavin Suthar - Mary Washington Healthcare
Amari Harris, Esq. - Virginia Indigent Defense & Cannabis Equity Reinvestment Board
