We are wrapping up the last day of summer with our annual "Dog Days" event.
See working and service dog demonstrations, and meet therapy dog and rescue dog organizations. And don't miss the Bulldog Kissing Booth!
REGISTER FOR THE DOG COSTUME CONTEST: Enter your dog in the "Semper Fido" Dog Costume Contest! Prizes will be given to the top 3 pooches! KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Retired Marine MSgt Chris Willingham will be speaking in Scuttlebutt Theater at 12 pm. Willingham, USMC dog handler for K9 war hero Lucca, will be sharing details about their time detecting IEDs during OIF. He'll also share details about Lucca's many awards and notoriety.
Bring the kids! There will be crafts and the opportunity to read to therapy dogs with "Tales with Tails". And Woofbowl dog-food truck will be in the parking lot. Stop by and check out their amazing dog treats!
