Description

Rocky Mountain Resuscitation, LLC is now accepting registrations for our Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification Course. This comprehensive program prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to provide emergency medical care in prehospital settings and meet the requirements for National Registry (NREMT) certification.

Throughout the course, students will learn patient assessment, airway management, CPR and AED use, oxygen administration, trauma care, medical emergencies, obstetrics, pediatrics, ambulance operations, and emergency operations. Training includes classroom instruction, practical skills laboratories, realistic patient scenarios, clinical experiences, and ambulance ride-alongs under the supervision of experienced EMS professionals.

This course is ideal for individuals interested in beginning a career in Emergency Medical Services, volunteer firefighters and rescue squad members, law enforcement personnel, healthcare professionals seeking to expand their emergency care knowledge, or anyone looking to make a difference in their community.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to test for National Registry EMT certification and pursue Virginia EMT certification.

No previous medical experience is required. Students must meet the minimum eligibility requirements established by the Virginia Office of EMS.
