Overview of the SBIR/STTR Program for Small Businesses
“How to Find and Win Government Technology Contracts”
The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce councils, FredTech and the Military Affairs Council, in partnership with the Dahlgren Area Small Business Round Table (DASBRT), will host a continental breakfast seminar on December 2nd.
An overview of the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) and Small business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs will be presented.
The seminar will start with presentations by Robert Brooke, Director of Federal Funding Programs for the Virginia Center of Innovative Technology (CIT) and John Williams, Director for the Navy and Marine Corps SBIR/STTR and Technology Transfer Programs.
Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A panel comprised of John Williams, Robert Brooke, Paul Lambert (USMC SBIR/STTR Lead), Cheryl Reckeweg (NSWCDD SBIR/STTR Lead), and representatives from several companies who have been successful in winning SBIR/STTR contracts.
