Description
The Military Affairs Council is hosting
a Roundtable Meeting featuring
Mr. Troy Parkman
Mr. Parkman will tell his story of being in the 3rd wave to hit the beaches,
on the first day of the Iwo Jima Battle, February 19, 1945.
His unit, 506 AAA Gun Battalion, was sent in to secure the base for the fighting force
that would eventually take the island for our country.
