Riverfest is Friends of the Rappahannock’s signature annual celebration of the river we all love, and this year we're celebrating our 35th Riverfest! Each September, this lively fundraiser brings together over 1,000 supporters for a one-of-a-kind afternoon on the banks of the Rappahannock. Guests enjoy all-you-can-eat crabs, barbecue, and oysters, plus live music, local craft beer, wine, and signature cocktails. The event features exciting raffles, a spirited live auction, and plenty of opportunities to connect with neighbors, friends, local businesses, and fellow river lovers! All proceeds directly support our year-round efforts to maintain the health and scenic beauty of the Rappahannock through education, advocacy, and restoration. Whether you’re here for the feast, the music, or the mission, Riverfest is a can’t-miss tradition that keeps the Rappahannock clean and thriving for generations to come.
