What Are Your Business and Legal Risks When You Ignore Website Accessibility?
Is your business's online presence configured to facilitate access by customers and clients who are vision-impaired or have other physical or cognitive disabilities? Persons with disabilities want access to your website and you may have a legal obligation to be accessible. Even if not required by law to be accessible, not being so is costing you money in other ways.
Join us for a ninety-minute discussion of the consequences for not having an accessible website – the legal requirements, risks and appropriate responses with the lawyers of Sands Anderson PC and the interactive developers of CRT/tanaka. You'll see your website and online properties in a whole new light.
We'll examine some of the guiding principles of website accessibility, identify some of the common problems and showcase relatively easy-to-implement solutions. You'll learn about the legal environment for meeting your website accessibility duties. And you'll come away with a better approach to your site usability for all clients and customers.
