Virtual Learning Session - Humanities Center at UMW

We’re pleased to invite you to a special virtual learning session introducing the Humanities Center at the University of Mary Washington. This session is designed for members of our local business community who are interested in exploring how the humanities intersect with workforce development, innovation, and community engagement. We will discuss the multiple avenues for work-based learning initiatives and aim to identify members of the business community that are interested in partnership. Session Details: Date: Monday, July 14th Time: 10:00 – 11:00am Location: Virtual (link to be provided upon RSVP) The Humanities Center supports interdisciplinary teaching, research, and public programming, with a mission to foster deeper connections between the university and the broader community. During this session, you'll learn about current initiatives, partnership opportunities, and ways the Center’s work can support regional business and civic priorities. We welcome your insights, questions, and ideas—and hope you’ll join us in shaping meaningful collaborations between UMW and our local partners.
