[SCRUM001859] Scrum Master & Coach
SimVentions, consistently voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for an experienced Scrum Master with 2+ years of experience mentoring or coaching multiple Scrum Teams!
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing a transition plan for the systems engineering team to use a Scrum Methodology
- Communication with government POCs on the plan and progress status
- Providing Agile and Scrum training to team members
- Providing mentoring/coaching to Scrum teams
- Works with the Product Owner on long-term release planning
- Performs as a Scrum Master, as needed, for one of more Scrum Teams
Required Skills & Experience:
- Ability to perform Scrum Master duties for more than one team
- Involvement in the Agile community
- Excellent interpersonal skills including organizational, team building, and issue resolution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including working with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills with a proven ability at making teams successful
- Experience conducting Agile events (e.g., retrospectives, etc.)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or higher Scrum certification
- Experience transitioning a team to a Scrum Methodology from a non-Agile Methodology
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline preferred
Minimum Clearance: Interim Clearance
