Head of Finance

Matern Staffing is hiring a Head of Finance for a dynamic and growing global organization in a hybrid capacity. As Head of Finance, this role requires a strategic and experienced professional with a strong background in financial leadership, operational oversight, and the ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Salary:

• $140,000 – $170,000/yr

Schedule:

• Hybrid – In office at least 2 days per week  

What You’ll Do: 

Financial Strategy & Planning: 

• Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with organizational goals 

• Advise executive leadership on planning, forecasting, and performance 

• Lead budgeting and long-term financial planning 

Financial Management: 

• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, payroll) 

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting 

• Monitor cash flow and overall financial performance 

Reporting & Analysis: 

• Prepare financial statements and performance reports 

• Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making 

• Track budgets and financial targets 

Compliance & Risk Management: 

• Ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance 

• Maintain internal controls and financial governance 

• Oversee audits and mitigate financial risks 

Team Leadership: 

• Lead and develop the finance team 

• Drive accountability and continuous improvement 

• Optimize systems and processes 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

• Partner with internal teams to support business initiatives 

• Collaborate with global stakeholders as needed 

• Manage relationships with external partners and advisors 

What You’ll Need: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience
• Proven leadership experience in a senior finance role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with full-cycle accounting operations
• Advanced financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting skills
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and integrity

Preferred

• MBA or Master’s degree in a related field 
• CPA certification 
• Experience in hybrid and/or global environments 
• Fluency in Hebrew or ability to support Hebrew-speaking stakeholders
