Home Instead is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN). The Nurse reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Personal Care and Nurse Directed Services to the seniors we serve while adhering to VDH, Corporate and Company standards. A strong desire to work with aging adults is a must along with excellent communication and organization skills.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct initial and reassessments for Personal Care and Nurse Directed Services clients,
- Perform supervisory visits with personal care Care Professionals,
- Oversight of Personal Care training and continued education, occasionally conducting same training in absence of training,
- Conduct service inquiries and care consultations with prospective clients/families,
- Occasional weekend and evening work may be necessary,
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect,
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly, caring, and congenial manner.

Requirements of employment:
- Complete and meet the requirements of a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, sex registry screen and drug screen,
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance.
