About Us
Serving families with children, single men and women, in separate sleeping quarters, the Brisben Center is the region's largest congregate shelter for transforming homelessness and poverty at their roots. It also has a large community gathering space and dining area, computer lab, family activity room, outdoor playground, loaner bicycles, basketball court, meditation room, clothes closet, commercial kitchen and wraparound programs that yield successful transition of participants back into the community.
For over 35 years, the Brisben Center has been the 24X7, 365 go-to resource for homeless services in the region.
The Brisben Center is particularly focused on families with children who subsist in poverty hotels and who are not served or underserved by HUD programs.
