About Us

The Tricord family started with two cousins who shared a passion for building and exceeding customer's expectations. After years of building a reputation for success in real estate sales, investment and development in Alaska, Atlanta, Raleigh and Northern Virginia, they selected Fredericksburg, Virginia as the best place to call home and founded Tricord in 1988.

As a family owned company, we know that the foundation of every home we build for a customer is the most critical element of the construction process. Our foundation is built on core values of integrity, respect, trust and results. Our Company name comes from Ecclesiastes 4:12, ''A cord of three strands is not quickly broken''. We recognize that collaboration is essential to our success as a business.

We've delivered over 2,500 homes in over 30 communities to our customers who are also our neighbors.

Our love for the Fredricksburg area and what it has to offer is shown by our commitment to be the premier community builder with deep local roots. Today our families are still very active in the Tricord business and in the communities we serve.
