Discover Nature Apps (DNA) Joins Marstel-Day's Wildlife Conservation Awareness Campaign
Co-Founder Evan Hirsche On How The Smartphone Revolution Can Help Reconnect People with Nature
Environmental and conservation consulting firm Marstel-Day announced today that the next speaker in its Wildlife Conservation Awareness Campaign series will be Evan Hirsche, co-founder of Discover Nature Apps, who will talk about how the smartphone revolution could be key to reconnecting America's technology-centered public to nature. The talk will be held Thursday, March 19th, 2015 from noon to 1:30 p.m. EDT at Marstel-Day's Fredericksburg, VA headquarters (513 Prince Edward Street). People interested in attending can register by emailing Michelle Alford at Malford@Marstel-Day.com
Discover Nature Apps is a company reinventing how people experience and learn about the natural world. Hirsche will talk about the evolution of outdoor interpretation; the struggle for relevancy facing public lands; and how the smartphone revolution offers these natural and historic treasures their best opportunity ever to engage an increasingly urban and disconnected American public.
