Social Media: The Branding Boot Camp

The goal of this course is to equip students with everything they need to build their personal brand across a variety of digital platforms. Participants will be able to articulate what communication strategy and platform(s) is best for their brand and learn how to create content that speaks to key audiences. In Social Media: The Branding Boot camp, participants will learn how to leverage social media to build their personal brands. Participants will be able to articulate how to use each platform individually and how to identify and create content that speaks to a core audience. The class will also give a strong overview of traditional and digital communication strategies that will help students be successful in practical settings. As a result of taking this course: - Participants will come away with an understanding of how social media platforms are used (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn). - Participants will be able to identify and articulate what key performance indicators matter on social media and how they translate to traditional marketing language and business goals. - Participants will understand how to set goals and measure their progress as they build their personal brand. - Participants will demonstrate and understand how to write and produce content for social media platforms.
