Rappahannock United Way (RUW) is a local nonprofit serving the City of Fredericksburg and the surrounding counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford. Our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community. We encourage businesses, organizations, families, and individuals to LIVE UNITED by giving, advocating, or volunteering. RUW seeks to advance the common good in our community by investing in solutions to achieve goals in the areas of Education, Income, and Health. These goals will create lasting change in the lives of individuals and families in our community. Not only will reaching these goals impact lives, but it will also make our entire community a better place. RUW convenes community partners to unite resources and together make an impact.
