Discover Next Step is hosting an event to elevate the mental health and well-being of our community helpers in Fredericksburg. Because this is a brand new event, we're asking companies to raise the area awareness of it, as it will also benefit teams and employees that are also struggling.
This will be a space to take a pause and reclaim balance and a personal and professional development experience to refresh, refocus and reboot your leadership while making the investment in our community helpers, the backbone of our community.
They will walk away with a customized and doable plan. For those who want to continue beyond the event, there will be an opportunity for them to be part of a leadership resiliency program throughout the remainder of the year.
The speakers will talk on the following topics:
Janel Donohue: Executive Director, Rappahannock United Way
Accept It, Change It, or Move On
Barbara Gustavson: Owner of Discover Next Step
Brain Health vs. Mental Health: The Key to Ongoing Resilience
Katina Randle-Howard: CEO & President, Transformation Lab
The Momentum of Community
Jarvis Bailey: Educator, Entrepreneur, Pastor, Legacy Coaching
Self-Care is not and 8-Letter Word
