Girls on the Run Piedmont is excited to celebrate 10 years of empowering girls! Join us for our 1st ever Sneaker Soiree! This semi-formal event (but leave the high heels at home and wear some great sneakers) is a not to be missed event celebrating the women in our community as we raise funds to help provide shoes and scholarships for even more girls. In 10 years, Girls on the Run Piedmont has served over 1600 girls and has NEVER turned a girl away due to her ability to pay the registration fee. The maximum registration fee per girl is $150, but the average family pays about $93, coupled with the rising costs of everything, the actual costs per girl exceed $400 each season. There is also a higher need than ever for running shoes to allow girls to participate safely. Girls on the Run Piedmont provides nearly 50 pairs of high-quality running shoes to girls every year.
