The Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership (V-TOP) is a workforce development accelerator that provides students and businesses with resources to optimize the mutual benefits of work-based learning. Our local V-TOP representative, the Rappahannock Work and Learn Collaborative, is offering a free, half-day workshop designed to help organizations learn how to develop high-quality, mutually beneficial internship experiences, satisfy the training prerequisite to qualify for state-funded support for creating or expanding an internship program, and network over lunch. This workshop will be most beneficial for organizations in GO Virginia Region 6 (Fredericksburg, Middle Peninsula, and Northern Neck areas) that are registered with the State Corporation Commission, have been in business for 3 or more years (or, if less, mentored/incubated by a recognized entity), have fewer than 250 employees, and are not government agencies.
