Description
This celebration of the artistic process is a signature event for Stafford County offering a unique and family-oriented gathering that attracts local residents and visitors alike.
Via Colori® is loosely based on a tradition of Renaissance-era street painting in Italy. Rick Compton, after seeing the modern version of this artform in Europe, brought it to the US and founded Via Colori® in 1994. Since then,
more than 50 Via Colori® events have been held across the US, raising more than $8M for local charities. Via Colori® is truly a “celebration of creativity”, as quoted by Rick Compton.
On September 23 & 24, seventy-five local artists will create one-of-kind art experiences on the asphalt at the Stafford Regional Airport. It will be inspiring for thousands of people as the artists share their perspective and creativity.
