Virtual CASA Run / Walk Challenge

Description

Heroes don’t need capes – just tennis shoes! So put on a comfy pair and be a hero to abused and neglected children by joining CASA’s Virtual Run/Walk Challenge! Between June 1 and Sept. 5, 2025, three teams will compete for the most mileage, with donations and a portion of the registration fees supporting CASA’s efforts to advocate for vulnerable kiddos. Each team is named after a superhero, and Rappahannock CASA’s own team – open to anyone – is called The Incredibles, in honor of our amazing volunteer advocates.

CASA volunteers are specially trained and appointed by local judges to advocate for the best interests of children who are before the court because they've been abused or neglected. Advocates meet monthly with the children they're serving and make recommendations about services that will help these children heal from their trauma.
