Description
Elaine Crocker, Director of Yet Stand, Inc. has written a stage play called Yet I Stand depicting her sexual assault experience and trauma to triumph, victim to victory. The play is performed annually in April which is nationally recognized as Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Yet I Stand has been performed since 2014 in Northern Virginia and Maryland. Many in our audience are sexual assault survivors and speak up about their experience often for the first time. As a result of the play our audience is encouraged to speak up and out and get help and help others.
