Systems Engineer (Tomahawk) **

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Tomahawk Team in the Dahlgren/Fredericksburg, VA area. The Systems Engineer will perform all aspect of systems engineering and may be called upon to support test activities in a lab environment.
SE activities include: requirements management, architecture development, capabilities assessments, preparing engineering artifacts that facilitate new capabilities or enhancements, updating interface documentation, working with external stakeholders, and participating in telcons and in-person meetings. Work can be performed from either our Fredericksburg or Dahlgren offices, but some work must be performed on base in Dahlgren. A small amount of time can be performed telecommuting.
Responsibilities:
- Learn the SE and test processes associated with the project
- Lead candidate change package development to incorporate stakeholder inputs and facilitate software and hardware system changes
- Utilize software applications such as MagicDraw/Cameo, DOORS, MS Office, and others to develop and review architectures, requirements, white papers, test procedures, and reports
Requirements:
- United States Citizenship
- Primary needs are being analytical and being mission focused
- Must either have a STEM degree or 10 years of relevant experience and an additional 5 years of experience, preferably with Tomahawk or other similar Navy weapons systems.

Education:??A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $122,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
