SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for an experienced System Integration Agent to join our team! The System Integration Agent will provide planning, coordination and administration for fielding of project software baselines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead CVN IPT WG, ICWG as required
- Coordinate the development and configuration control for Navigation systems baseline for LCS and CVN class ships (or others as required)
- Track Fielding for said baselines
- Track GFE/GFI deliveries to ship yard, installations and fielding of NAV elements
- Track Certification status of said baselines
- Identify, track and resolve engineering issues as they come up
- Participate in weekly SIA WG, Monthly SEIT WG, and biweekly DD CHENG Status WG
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of Navy operational experience
- 5+ years of Navy Ship Integration experience
- Knowledge of US Navy combat and navigation systems
- Knowledge of SHIPMAIN modernization process
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft products
- Familiar with the InformeDB product
Education:
- 5 years of Navy operational experience
- 5+ years of Navy Ship Integration experience
- Knowledge of US Navy combat and navigation systems
- Knowledge of SHIPMAIN modernization process
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
