Clearance
An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in engineering and securing DoD systems
- Certified as IAT Level II
- Knowledgeable with Information Systems Security
- Working knowledge of the various Steps of the RMF process including continuous monitoring
- Experience working on classified processing systems and handling classified material
- Experience reviewing ACAS vulnerability scans and reviewing audit logs
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and architecture
- Ability to clearly and professionally communicate verbally and in writing to cybersecurity personnel of various levels, from teammates to upper-level leadership
Responsibilities
• Thoroughly review Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for various systems using the USMC's Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
• Preform authorization Package Control Reviews
• Self-Assessment Reviews
• Provide final Authorization Package Reviews prior to Authorization Recommendation
• Review of Authorization Package supporting artifacts
• Preform ACAS Scans and STIG Checklists
• Create Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
• Develop System Security Plan
• Develop Configuration Management Plan
• Develop Contingency Plan and Contingency Plan Test Reports
• Create Information Security Continuous Monitoring Strategies
• Develop other supporting cybersecurity documentation as necessary
• Communicate and collaborate with Information System Security Managers, Information System Security Engineers, Information System Security Managers, and Security Control Assessor - Analysts to update system authorization packages and work towards authorizations
• Communicate and collaborate with USMC Security Control Assessor - Analysts during review of authorization packages to verify the review and documentation meet the requirements for authorization recommendation submissions
Preferred Skills and Experience
- CASP, Secruity +, or CISSP
- Familiar with DevSecOps
Compensation
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $100,000.00 - 160,000.00 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
