Web Developer - Computer Engineer ** 2024-1339

We are looking for an experienced Web/Software Developer to join our team and provide web/software engineering in an Agile development environment as part of an integrated contractor-government team developing software for tactical weapons systems.

Clearance
A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Requirements
- United States Citizenship
- ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- At least 8 years of experience writing and delivering software
- Experience with Object Oriented Languages (C#, Java)
- Experience using .NET SDKs (at least .NET 6 or newer)
- Knowledge of Weapon Systems and Command & Control Systems
Responsibilities
- Computer Vision Algorithm Development: Strong background in computer vision, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying computer vision algorithms and models in production environments
- Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms for various applications, including object detection, image segmentation, and image recognition
- Deep Learning: Apply deep learning techniques, including convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neural networks (RNNs), to solve complex computer vision problems
- Data Collection and Annotation: Oversee data collection efforts and collaborate with teams to annotate and preprocess datasets for computer vision tasks
- Model Training and Evaluation: Train and fine-tune computer vision models, and establish robust evaluation methodologies to assess their accuracy and performance
- Integration: Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into products and services
- Optimization: Optimize computer vision algorithms for real-time and resource-constrained environments
- Deployment: Deploy computer vision systems into production, ensuring scalability and reliability

Compensation
$95,000 - $140,000 (Please see below for more info on salary)
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
